Look at the vacancies

Lists of homes to rent will be displayed at

  • Select Move property shop,St. John’s Shopping Arcade Preston
  • New Progress Housing Association, Sumner House 21 King St Leyland
  • Eaves Brook Housing Association 36 Ormskirk Road Preston

The lists will also be advertised in our newsletters and  properties can also be viewed by clicking on the properties button above or you can ring us on our freephone number 0800 655 6785.

For each home advertised we publish information to help you make the right choice e.g. the weekly costs, local services, and any special features (such as sheltered housing for older people).

Each advert tells you if that home is most suitable for a family, couple or single person. The type of homes you can be considered for will depend on:

  •        How many people are to be housed with you.
  •        If you need to stay in a community.
  •        Which colour band you are in (some homes are restricted to red band customers).

Please note: every now and again homes are excluded from Select Move because they are needed for an emergency. In those cases the homes will not be advertised.

Choose a home and express your interest

You can show an interest in up to five homes in any of the two-week advertising period. When you express an interest in a property we will tell you what position you are on the list for the property at that particular time.

Please note your position on the list will change as other people express interest in the property.

It is then up to you. If you are high up on the list, or feel that a particular home is very important, you can “stick “ with it. Or you can withdraw your interest and move it to another home where you may be higher up the list.
